It’s that time of year, and seemed like the perfect time to try our luck at brewing a stout.
We gave this beer a solid base of chocolate malt to give it some good flavor and color. Balanced with Chinook and Galena hops for a smooth flavor.
The result? From the aroma to the aftertaste, a very smooth drinkable stout with hints of chocolate. Stouts are not typically the first style of beer I reach for, however, this may be my favorite beer we have brewed to date. A little bit more head would help improve this beer next time around, but that won’t stop us from enjoying a pint (or more) from this batch!
